2014
Just like the previous years, I will come up with a list of new resolutions to achieve in that particular year. Although the things I want to achieve are almost similar every year, it feels good to list down goals you want to meet and up your life to a new level. You know, spice up the game a little bit or maybe a lot.
#1 Ditch unhealthy eating habit.
This resolution is not foreign to me. At some point, it's getting tiresome to have this on my list every single year. It's frustrating that I haven't been able to achieve what I want. Every year, this resolution goes under different labeling like losing weight, getting fit and so on. So, I will make sure that this year will be the last year this resolution comes first on my list.
#2 Start caring about the world.
I think it's important to learn the truths about the world. I need to update myself on current issues so it opens my mind to new perspectives and possibilities so I don't get stuck at the same place for a long time. I need to be progressive.
#3 Improve myself spiritually.
I am as flawed as any other human being. By making myself better spiritually, it's going to give me peace of mind.
#4 Get out and make friends!
I do socialize but most of the times, I am more of a loner. I like to spend time on my own, alienate myself from other people and stuff. I think the time spent on my own gives me so much space to overthink my problems and thus, creating extra problems that shouldn't be there in the first place. I realised that when I mingle around people, I don't get as much time to scrutinize my life too much. So, less worries which is good!
Last week, I flipped through some old albums at home and I was overwhelmed by a mix of emotions. It felt good to be reminded of my childhood memories. I'm turning 20 this year and that's like an important age for me (any age is important for me, okay). It denotes a new phase in my life. I have left my adolescence years and now, I am getting to somewhere serious. All in all, it just feels good to remember what it felt like to be a kid. Haha.
So, I have to go back to my books and slides because my final exams are still happening! I wish you guys all the best for new year and hopefully, 2014 will be a much better year than 2013. :)
