Over The Rainbow

I finally have a proper time to blog about my life here in Shah Alam. I still remember the first two weeks, I felt like I'm at the right place. I've never felt so glad. The only thing I hope for is to be more serious and disciplined in my studies. I keep saying to myself that the seriousness shall come when the time is right. But really, it's already been a month! I think I haven't done much. Is it too early to worry about final exams? :S

Since I'm here, I've been having a lot of cravings. One of them is mee rebus johor. One of the stalls at our faculty cafe sells mee rebus and my friends have been complimenting the mee rebus a little bit too much I had a hard time controlling my appetite. And today for lunch, I finally had a bowl of mee rebus and my life is complete (exaggerated)! It really tasted good. :)

When I was out with Kaklong a few weeks back, she recommended me a book called The Art of War by Sun Tzu. Sun Tzu was a war general who wrote the rules of war. He lived thousands of years ago during Wu Dynasty. I think his guide becomes the basis to the regulations of war we currently have. Proper research shall be done after I've finished reading the book though.

My classes are fine. For this semester, we have four law subjects (torts, contract law, Malaysian Legal System, Constitutional law), a language class (elective, I picked Mandarin!), Islamic and Asian Civilisations and co-curricular activity (KESATRIA). So, KESATRIA is a one-semester bound contract and after that, you get to pick whatever club/activity you want to join in your second and third semesters. It is compulsory for you to involve in any co-curricular activity for three semesters unless you have joined PLKN previously. You get exempted from joining for one semester.

My classmates are cool people too. Peace

Apart from the eight compulsory subjects we need to take, I participate as an ad hoc for UiTM Mocktrial and a junior debater for UT MARA debating club. You all seriously have to come to our mocktrial. This year the title for our mocktrial is Jibril. Mocktrial is basically a staged trial but in an entertaining way. I've made it a point to always improve myself spiritually, academically and physically. I decided to use my school motto as my life motto as well. It's Veni, Vidi, Vici which means I came, I saw, I conquered. It sounds just right. Georgians all the way!
