She-sketch: Amelie

The past weeks in law school have been hectic (it's crazyyy). I was rushing to meet the deadlines for my moot submission, assignments, presentations, Novice and tests. Every day I came back to my room feeling exhausted and it didn't take me long to doze off but to wake up early in the morning is still hard. Despite the schedule being hectic, I enjoyed it because it made me productive. I felt good about myself when crossing off one thing after another on the list.

Due to that, there were some days when the tension was further intensified and my brain just couldn't cope and I just ended up screaming or crying. Hahah. Then, after I was done with most of them, when I finally had some time for myself, I switched off my phone and googled for a light movie and that's when I stumbled upon Amelie. :)

It's a French movie and very heartwarming.

I'm glad my midterm break has started. And I can't wait for my art sesh with my cuzzies! We decided that the theme will be Flowers & Leaves.

Amelie (the drawing) is all about letting the world past and she just stands there, letting the wind blow her hair and breathing in fresh air and just be at peace.

You live dizzy and busy finding yourself often in a tizzy. All the while who you really are is at peace, deep, calm and tranquil. Just a little dip into that peace.
